The role To deliver excellent financial planning, advice, and service to clients via a desk based service model.


Job Responsibilities

1. A focus on New business development. With proactive client contacting to
2. covert legacy clients to our ongoing service proposition.
3. A focus on actively engaging with and reviewing existing clients to deliver
4. our ongoing service proposition.
5. To provide holistic financial planning solution to private client across the full
6. suite of financial planning solutions.
7. Achieving revenue targets set by the business and regional manager.
8. Proactively drive for cross selling and referring business into other parts of
9. the group.
10. Maintain & nurture existing client relationships, identifying and fulfilling new
11. advice needs where appropriate.
12. Generate new client enquiries and generates advice income from these.
13. Undertake sales and marketing activity in line with local/regional/ national
14. plans.
15. Provide expert independent advice to designated clients in compliance with
16. relevant regulations and Titan policies and values.
17. Maintenance of 'Fit and Proper' status through continuous professional
18. development, suitable development opportunities and maintenance of SPS.
19. Evidence and maintain knowledge of company policies, processes and
20. guidance.
21. Ensure that client advice and reports are compliant with company processes
22. and regulatory requirements.
23. Use standard template documentation approved by the company
24. Ensure technical knowledge and general industry knowledge is always
25. maintained.
26. Delivery of a positive client service experience to ensure appropriate client
27. outcomes, client journey and client communication.
28. Speed of response/turnaround time in accordance with service standards set
29. out in procedures and clients kept appropriately appraised.
30. Processes are executed in compliance with all regulations, as evidenced by
31. file checks, observations, and client feedback.
32. To establish relationships with other business groups in the Titan group to
33. achieve reciprocal business.
34. Develop and maintain good working relationships with external professional
35. connections (ensuring appropriate agreements in place) to develop additional
36. business opportunities.
37. Use objectives to focus on key business areas.
38. Highlight personal training needs to ensure a consistent level of service is
39. offered to the business.
40. Ensure reading and product knowledge is always up to date to maintain and
41. develop quality of reports and research.
42. Perform ad hoc tasks as and when required, always bearing in mind TCF and
43. the needs of the business.
44. To highlight to your line manager procedures & processes that do not adhere to the principles of TCF/RCR and to put forward suggestions that improve the TCF/RCR practices within the department.
45. To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required.
46. Adhere to consumer duty.


Role Requirements

47. Experience as a Financial Planner
48. Experience in a Paraplanning role (preferable but not essential).
49. Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel and Databases.
50. Cash Flow Modelling (preferable but not essential).
51. Excellent standard of written and verbal communication.
52. Technical competence across all areas of financial planning.
53. Good decision-making skills.
54. Analytical mind and excellent attention to detail.
55. Excellent time management skills with an ability to work to deadlines.
56. Ability to coach and provide feedback.
57. Good technical knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations.
58. Essential - Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
59. Desirable - Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning/Chartered Financial Planner or willingness to progress to this
60. SPS holder
61. CAS holder
