Senior ATO – Procurement & Stock Control Aseptic Services
University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust are looking for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated Senior Administration and Clerical Technical Officer to manage the procurement and stock control of medicines within Aseptic services.
About the Role
As a Senior ATO you will share responsibilities between the Pharmacy Procurement team and the Aseptic services department. The role includes:
* Ordering, invoicing and tracking medicines and related supplies.
* Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely purchasing and follow‑up on outstanding orders.
* Managing stock of materials used for the preparation of aseptic medicines, including regular inventory checks.
* Supporting the Aseptic department, which prepares chemotherapy and other sterile medicines, without involvement in the preparation or manufacturing itself.
* Collaborating with both teams to ensure efficient procurement processes and accurate record keeping.
Qualifications & Skills
Applicants should:
* Have strong IT skills and familiarity with procurement software.
* Be organised, accurate and capable of working independently.
* Show initiative, be helpful, approachable and good at communication.
* Have problem‑solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
* Be able to manage time effectively across two departments.
Employment Details
Full‑time, mid‑senior level within the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. No visa sponsorship available; applicants must meet the graduate visa conditions as described above.
