First Line IT Support Technician
Location : Hybrid – 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home
Hours : Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30 (40 hours/week)
Contract : Temporary – 4 to 5 weeks
Are you passionate about tech and great with people? We’re looking for a First Line IT Support Technician to step in on a short-term basis and help keep things running smoothly. You’ll be the friendly first point of contact for technical support, helping customers stay connected while resolving their IT issues quickly and professionally.
️ Your responsibilities:
1. Answer tech-related queries via phone & email
2. Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues
3. Log and manage support tickets accurately
4. Escalate complex issues to 2nd line support
5. Liaise with engineers and schedule service calls
6. Support growth by recommending services where relevant
We’re looking for:
7. Tech-savvy mindset (routers, systems, mobile devices)
8. Calm under pressure and highly organised
9. Excellent written and verbal communication
10. Prior experience in tech support or helpdesk roles
Extra knowledge that’s a plus:
11. Familiarity with VoIP, SIP, or IP networking
12. Experience with SolarWinds, cnMaestro, or SamKnows
13. Understanding of fibre and wireless networks (training provided!)
