Overview
Job Title : Multi Skilled Shift Engineer - Air Conditioning Bias. Shift pattern: 12 hour shifts working 4 days on, 4 days off - 7:00am to 7:00pm
Responsibilities
* Provide reactive and planned pro-active maintenance services for operational assets, covering electrical, mechanical, and building fabric disciplines, including modifications, installations, and liaising with contractors.
* Ensure high-quality standards, legal requirements, and company policies; maximize equipment availability, offer technical support, and ensure safety and compliance.
* Provide a reactive and planned pro-active maintenance (PPM) service as per project requirements to all operational assets.
* Flexibility in work hours to provide cover for holidays and sickness absence and participate in standby rota for emergency calls, outside normal working hours.
* Proactively walk the floors, reporting any maintenance or H&S issues to the helpdesk and appropriate manager.
Experience & Skills
* Experience of working within commercial/industrial properties and installation.
* Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and its application within role.
* The ability to effectively prioritise own workload.
* A good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.
Qualifications & Training
* NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning/Maintenance - Desirable
* F-Gas Qualification - Desirable
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Apprenticeship - Desirable
* 2391-52 Testing and Inspection Qualification - Desirable
* NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing - Desirable
