A holiday payment of £1,584 will be paid equally in your twelve monthly salary payments in addition to the pro rata salary above**
As a Learning Support Practitioner at EKC Ashford College, you will provide support to students with high needs undertaking a range of subjects and qualifications from Entry 1 up to Level 3, including Functional and GCSE English and Maths.
Students may have various learning difficulties and disabilities. They will require support in their studies, work placements, and possibly their welfare or personal care needs.

About You
If you have strong communication skills, an understanding of behaviour management, a passion to inspire students, and work well under pressure, this is an ideal role for you.
You should be passionate about supporting students with high needs and ideally have experience working with individuals with visual/hearing impairments, global development delay, and communication difficulties.
In your role, you will support students in small groups and during lectures who have conditions such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder, social/emotional/mental health needs, global learning delay, language & communication difficulties, sensory or physical needs. Experience working with these needs is advantageous; full training will be provided.
