Overview
This is a role within the GMMH rehabilitation division, joining the Home Engagement and Rehabilitation Team (HEART) to provide bespoke, intensive and individualised interventions for service users living with complex, enduring mental health problems to enable them to live fulfilling lives in the community.
Role
The Peer Support Worker role is designed for people who have lived experience of mental health difficulties or a dual diagnosis (such as mental health with substance misuse, learning difficulties, or autism). The Peer Support Worker will act as a role model, mentor and ambassador for living well in both clinical and non-clinical environments across a range of community settings. Through sharing experience, you will inspire hope and belief that living well is possible in others.
