Assistant Systems Accountant\n\n£35k-£38k\n\nLiverpool\n\nFTC\n\nAssistant Systems Accountant required for one of our not for profit organisations based in Liverpool. The Assistant Systems Accountant will support with the development and implementation of the new finance system and will work closely with the Systems Accountant. To contribute to service improvements and play a vital part in delivering high-quality financial insights across the organisation.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities;\n\nAssist the Systems Accountant on the development of existing and implementation of new financial systems and processes to ensure consistency and efficient processing of financial information.\nAssist with the development of financial reports for the Group that support decision making.\nEnsure systems controls are embedded and permissions are in line with approved limits.\nLiaise with internal departments in relation to developing an understanding of financial systems and processes.\nEnsure documented procedures are in place for all financial processes and assist with training for new and existing staff.\nAssist the Systems Accountant in the review and challenge existing systems and processes to improve efficiency through automation.\nEnsure all policies and procedures are up to date.
