Private Site Fundraising Role
Our Private Site fundraisers are employed by Charity Link on permanent contracts, full‑time or part‑time, and receive a base rate for guaranteed minimum income, with the opportunity to earn more through discretionary bonuses.
As the public face of our charity partners, you will interact with the public to secure regular monthly direct debit donations or lottery sign‑ups at a variety of venues, including large events, superstores, town centres, shopping centres and train stations. These venues are pre‑booked for you by our in‑house venues team, giving you the best chance of securing donor sign‑ups during your shift.
The working day varies depending on the venue; flexibility is required to accommodate peak footfall times, particularly evenings and weekends.
Candidate Profile
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic, motivated to meet and exceed targets independently.
* Previous experience in a customer‑facing role such as sales, customer service or field sales.
* Excellent communication skills with demonstrable ability to build immediate face‑to‑face rapport.
* Ready to work Saturdays; weekends are peak times for sign‑ups.
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
* Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Desire to become a passionate advocate for the charity you represent.
