Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Records Clerk in Central. The post holder will be responsible for providing an essential support service in the continuing care of patients, ensuring that the case notes are at the right place at the right time. The role involves pulling, filing, pruning, destruction, preparation, amalgamation and secure transportation of case notes.
Main Duties
To actively promote the vision for the Health Records service working towards a Digital Records future and support the delivery of modernisation plans for Health Records. Support the delivery of the Health Records Operational Plan by working with the Health Records Supervisors/Co-ordinator/ Assistant Site Manager. Ability to speak Welsh desirable; English & Welsh equally welcome.

Qualifications & Experience
* Good standard of education or equivalent experience.
* Basic knowledge of principles of confidentiality.
* Experience with Microsoft Office packages.
* General fitness required for lifting, filing and transferring case notes.
* Flexibility to work required hours.
Desirable
* NVQ or equivalent qualification/experience.
* NHS experience.
* Previous administrative and customer service experience.
* Welsh speaker.
