The Opportunity:
This is a great role for an experienced PMO Analyst looking to work in a medium sized business that is looking to mature their PMO function. You'll be part of the Projects & Change team setting and managing project governance and helping the team to track key deliverables. Key to this is the ability to look at processes and drive improvement and efficiency. It's an excellent environment and the business are expanding at pace and have done this by focusing their recruitment on personality, behaviours and drive.
The Role:
The key tasks you'll be involved in will include -
- Driving efficiencies, automations and improvements to all aspect of the Projects & Change Team
- Providing support and guidance to the Project & Change Team
- Oversee Financial and Budget Management and be responsible for reporting and cost management
- Tracking and reporting on the status of key milestones and deliverables
- Managing and reporting on risk
- Be involved in benefits realisation tracking and reporting
- Working with external auditors to demonstrate compliance
- Defining and updating standards, processes and governance
- Managing project plans and documentation
- Working with key stakeholders to define project scope
- Resource Management
The Person:
The ideal person will have specific experience as a PMO Analyst, be able to demonstrate experience across all of the above responsibilities and be happy in a role that requires travel 3 days a week to the Basingstoke office.
You need to have a worked in a central PMO function with a focus on Governance and Assurance and have worked across multiple projects / programmes. You'll have developed, implemented and improved project delivery and governance frameworks. Ideally your experience will have been as the sole PMO resource or at least within a small team.
The company are growing fast and it's a positive and change driven environment where delivery is at pace and the breadth and scope of projects is varied. The role is paying circa £55-60k depending on skills & experience.
