We are looking for an Online Researcher to join us for a 3 month internship with the opportunity to extend. This role is paying £26K pro rota, and looking for a talented graduate to join us asap. About the Company: We are Londons leading provider of space to the film industry. The Agency division, Location Collective, represents all types of property for both front-of-camera and behind-the-camera film production use on behalf of our owner clients; from lived-in homes, to operational and institutional buildings, to vacant offices and industrial development sites. We specialise in exclusively managing filming activity at some of Londons most iconic sites, for example Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Battersea Power Station and Wembley Stadium as well as a whole host of vacant and highly filmic buildings in and around the capital. Our studio Division, OMA Studio Group, launched in 2020, has grown quickly as a response the shortage of studio space in and around London. We acquire former distribution depots and convert them into high specification film studios. OMA Studio Group is Londons largest fully independent studio operator. Our portfolio and services are built with the aim of providing well-designed, high specification studio facilities which represent great all-round value for money. Our current studio portfolio is made up of 13 sound stages across three facilities, OMA One, OMA X in Enfield, North London and OMA V Film Studios in Radlett, near St Albans. Across both our agency and studio divisions, we are proud to work with every major production shooting in and around the South-East of England and have been involved in every imaginable type of shoot over the years. We have developed trusted relationships to provide locations and production space to all major channels and streamers - Apple, Netflix, Disney Amazon, Paramount, Sky, BBC, and ITV. Some of the more noteworthy films and television shows we have provided space for over the recent past are Slow Horses, Running Man, Wicked: For Good, The Hack Mobland, Mickey 17, Black Doves, Bugonia, The Diplomat, Wake Up Dead Man: Knives Out Mystery, Man Vs Baby, T he Girlfriend and The Family Plan 2. How you expect the candidate to spend their day: The candidate will have a significant focus on: Sourcing and managing contact information Profiling targeted industry contacts Monitoring industry articles, publications for new production announcements Profiling new productions Researching new production companies The role requires: A demonstrable interest in the film and television sector Diligent research skills A strong attention to detail Key Responsibilities: Contact profiling and database management: Gather and maintain new contact details for both inhouse and freelance production contacts. Build and manage our existing database of industry contacts, broken down by production type, location, and job title and highlighting new contacts to outreach to. Use a variety of online platforms, internal and external databases, and additional research to source contact information. Assist with our New Production Tracker: Keep a close eye on live and upcoming film production broadcasts daily to identify new productions filming in the UK. Monitor industry articles, trackers, agency leads and production status updates (e.g Deadline, Variety, IMDB etc) for announcements of new film projects and industry news. Help track production timelines to identify key windows for outreach. Feeding back to Studio Sales Team weekly to help identify productions to outreach. Stay on top of the latest industry trends, film projects, and announcements related to film production in the UK. Making sure any new productions are added to contacts database to profile and pull contacts. The candidate will also have the opportunity to provide ad hoc administrative support to the wider Studio and Agency teams as needed, assist with social media and marketing campaigns, and gather valuable industry insights. The ideal candidates personality and qualifications: Skills: Basic understanding of data research and contact sourcing methods. Strong attention to detail. Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets. Strong organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ideal Candidate: A proactive, self-starter who enjoys finding new information and solving problems. Comfortable navigating different online tools and platforms to gather information. Interested in learning about data driven new business opportunities. Interest in the Film Industry would be a bonus but not mandatory. A proactive attitude toward seeking out new opportunities and spotting emerging trends in the film industry.
