Due to continued growth, they are now looking to hire a part-qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team.
Role
The Management Accountant for this recruitment consultancy business based in the city of London, will support the Finance Manager in the production of monthly management accounts, reporting & analysis. They will take on a number of key duties including:
* Produce monthly sales reports, ensuring accurate revenue, costs, and accruals through close collaboration with Sales Managers.
* Calculate and review monthly commission payments.
* Analyse sales data to highlight trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting schedules.
* Support year-end audit preparation and documentation.
* Prepare and distribute sales P&L reports with clear commentary.
* Own and process month-end management recharges.
Profile
The ideal profile for this hands-on Management Accountant role, should have the following attributes:
* Part qualified Accountant with extensive experience in supporting management account preparation.
* Confidence with owning month-end procedures and knowledge in debits & credits.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Good academic background
* Proficient Excel experience (Advanced)
* Industry background in a recruitment firm would be highly advantageous
Salary & Benefits
£40,000 to £45,000 plus benefits including:
