Job Overview
Our client is looking for a proactive and approachable Workplace Assistant to join their Newcastle office on a part‑time basis. This role is a key part of the local operational team, helping to ensure the office runs smoothly and provides a safe, welcoming and efficient environment for all employees and visitors.
Main Responsibilities
* Utilise Workplace/Facilities experience to support day‑to‑day office operations.
* Liaise with service providers and vendors to SMT's and stakeholders.
* Uphold and ensure the compliance (Health & Safety) is adhered to across the site.
* Maintain a high standard for the entire facility and support in arrangements across the site.
* Working closely with the Workplace Coordinator to both resolve issues efficiently and display strong communication skills.
* Ensure all documentation around maintenance, fire safety and business continuity is carried out a professional level.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong customer focus presence.
* Hands on experience with a drive to support in manual tasks.
* Good administrative background with confidence of data entry.
* Ability to liaise with internal and external teams with great relationship management.
* Some facilities experience would be desirable.
