Salary: Up to £54,000 per annum

The role of the Commercial Accountant
* Provide clear, insightful financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions
* Partner with operational teams to understand performance and improve profitability
* Lead monthly management accounts, forecasts, and budgeting processes
* Deliver meaningful variance analysis and KPI reporting
* Support commercial decision-making on contracts, pricing, and business plans
* Identify and implement process and system improvements
* Collaborate across finance and wider teams to drive efficiency and understanding
* Contribute to long-term planning, including 5-year forecasts and scenario modelling
The ideal candidate for the Commercial Accountant
* CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified accountant or strong QBE
* Experience in a commercial finance role, ideally within construction or contract-based environments
* Strong understanding of management accounting, forecasting, and financial analysis
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
* Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
* Advanced Excel and strong systems skills
