Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 2 x 4 roles
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £27,964 - £30,146 (CLF Grade C) based on 37 hours per week, all year round.

Roles and Hours:
1. Year 4/5 – 30 hours per week – (actual salary: £19,415 - £20,930 – 6 hours per day)
2. Pre-school – 2 hours per week – (actual salary: £13,943 - £13,95 – Wednesday afternoon)
3. Key Stage 1 – 17.5 hours per week – (actual salary: £11,325 - £12,209 – Monday to Friday, 3.5 hours per day in the mornings)
4. Pre-school – 30 hours per week – (actual salary: £19,415 - £20,930 – 6 hours per day)
We are seeking passionate and skilled Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our supportive team at Haywood Village Academy. We value diversity and are committed to transforming our students’ learning experiences.

Role Responsibilities:
Assist in the educational, personal, and social development of students under the guidance of colleagues such as the Principal, SENCo, and class teachers. Support students by implementing strategies to access the curriculum, engage with learning, and reach their full potential. Provide specialist support in specific areas to improve student attainment and well-being. Collaborate with colleagues and support, advise, or coach less experienced staff as needed.
About You:
* Understanding of classroom roles and how a TA supports learning.
* Ability to engage students and manage behavior in small groups or one-to-one.
* Willingness to undertake relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in supporting teaching and learning or equivalent, and first aid.
* Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy and active listening.
* Good planning and organizational skills.
* Interest in working with children, with a commitment to inclusion.
