About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students who may face behavioural, emotional, or social challenges. You’ll work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and parents/carers to help students stay engaged, motivated, and on track with their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural needs
* Help manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour
* Promote positive behaviour strategies across the school
* Work closely with the SEN and pastoral teams to implement behaviour plans
* Support teaching and learning in the classroom when required
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs (in a school or similar setting)
* Calm, empathetic, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for making a difference in young people’s lives
* Relevant qualifications or training in behaviour management (desirable but not essential)
