My client, a smaller house builder delivering bespoke homes, are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor with proven experience working for a housebuilder who is looking to play a key role in managing costs and maximising project profitability from inception through to final account. Key Responsibilities * Managing all commercial aspects of multiple new-build residential developments. * Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans, and forecasts. * Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers. * Preparing tender documentation and carrying out tender analysis. * Negotiating subcontract agreements and managing subcontractor accounts. * Monitoring project costs, valuations, variations, and cash flow. * Producing monthly cost/value reconciliation reports. * Managing payments, final accounts, and commercial reporting. * Working closely with site, technical, and land teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved. * Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
