This is key to enabling us to deliver on the promises we\\\'ve made to the people of Wales to build a sustainable transport network that meets their needs.Role responsibilities This role will focus on supporting the Climate Change Team with administrative support and monitoring of Transport for Wales (TfW)\\\'s energy and utilities usage across our owned assets included stations, offices and depots. The role will require data collection and analysis and an understanding of how effective energy and carbon management can contribute to TfW\\\'s objectives. Support the organisation in its management of utilities contracts with both suppliers and landowners (e.g. Network Rail) by engaging in regular meetings, responding to queries and completing necessary paperwork to enable business continuity and meet contractual obligations. Supporting utilities arrangements for new or refurbished buildings before they are handed over to tenants or other third parties by engaging with relevant stakeholders and arranging meter installations to enable accurate third part billing and reporting. Arranging and supporting energy and climate change audits across the transport network to help identify opportunities for improved energy efficiency, climate resilience and carbon reduction and review and assess emerging new technologies to enable TfW to adopt innovative measures to adapt and mitigate against climate change. Support the Energy and Carbon Reduction Lead to identify opportunities to upgrade equipment, commissions and manage new equipment and management solutions and calculate the resultant energy saving and carbon savings and overall project or initiative paybacks to enable TfW to demonstrate and improve energy efficiency across the network and reduce carbon emissions. Who we\\\'re looking for Experience of monitoring, analysis and reporting of energy use and carbon data and the software available to do this. Experience and knowledge of energy management including low carbon and renewable technologies and sub-metering systems. Experience of organising energy efficiency assessments/audits Administrative experience to support working groups. Excellent communication and technical report writing skills. Welsh Language Skills The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills.
