Quantity Surveyor - Highways & Civil Engineering

What will you be doing?
1. Prepare, submit, and secure approval for monthly payment applications.
2. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
3. Develop and manage target cost contracts, including cost forecasting and risk mitigation.
4. Monitor and control project costs against budgets and forecasts to maintain financial performance.
5. Compile and analyse cost reports and commercial performance reviews.
6. Prepare and review subcontractor packages, valuations, and final accounts.
7. Support change-management processes, including assessment, pricing, and negotiation of variations.
8. Contribute to the preparation of tender documentation and procurement strategies.
9. Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate cost capture and timely reporting.
10. Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to support successful project delivery.
What you'll bring
11. Minimum 3 years' Quantity Surveying experience (infrastructure/civil engineering preferred).
12. Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
13. Knowledge of Target Cost Contracts (NEC3/NEC4).
14. Experience preparing/managing payment applications and CVR/commercial administration.
15. Strong numerical and analytical ability with excellent stakeholder communication skills.
16. Proficient in Excel; familiarity with CEMAR/Causeway-CPA advantageous.
