An opportunity has arisen for you to join our Inpatient nursing and rehabilitation teams at our stroke rehabilitation unit based at Endeavour Ward (Harmony House) in Chatham.
The role is that of a Nursing Rehabilitation Assistant, working closely with nurses and therapists to deliver care to patients requiring rehabilitation following a stroke. The focus is on delivering nursing interventions to support their recovery.
You will be expected to work shifts, including weekends and nights.

* Work within the clinical unit at Endeavour Suite Stroke Unit.
* Assist qualified staff with personal care duties and activities of daily living for patients.
* Support the nursing team with wound care, continence management, and monitoring patients’ vital signs.
* Provide and promote a high standard of fundamental care to patients.
* Report and record patient information accurately.
* Participate actively in patients’ individual rehabilitation programmes under the guidance of occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
* Work autonomously as well as part of the team.
