Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Advisor to join their team in Birmingham. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your HR skills within a supportive and inclusive environment. You will be instrumental in providing expert advice on HR matters, contributing to the development of HR policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a dynamic setting that values collaboration, commitment, and understanding.


What you’ll do

* Provide expert advice on HR matters to management and staff
* Provide guidance to management on complex employee relation cases
* Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation
* Manage employee relations issues such as grievances and disciplinaries
* Support the recruitment process by advising on job descriptions, interviewing techniques, and selection processes
* Promote equality and diversity within the workplace


What you bring

* Proven experience in a similar HR role
* Knowledge of employment law, strong experience with ER
* Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with staff at all levels
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
* Strong organisational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously
