As the Financial Accounting Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the general ledger team to ensure delivery of high-quality service. You will manage the month-end close, support audit processes, prepare consolidated financial statements, statutory accounts, and cash flow reporting. Building robust relationships across finance and business units will be key as you lead audits, uphold compliance, and drive continuous process improvements, all while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team atmosphere.
Hours of Work: Full-time, Hybrid working available.
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000, depending on experience.
Financial Accounting Manager Requirements:
* ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with a deep understanding of accounting and regulatory requirements.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an operational finance team focusing on statutory audits and financial statement preparation.
* Proven experience of managing finance teams with a strong technical expertise in IFRS, UK GAAP, and FRS 101/102.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (Oracle).
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
