A well-established motor vehiclepany is looking to expand their team and is currently looking for a permanent Motor Mechanic /Vehicle Technician. You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to a high standard, ensuring all work meetspany quality and safety expectations.
Your new role
You will be required to:
1. Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on all vehicle types
2. Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and manual inspection
3. Perform mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts, and engine work
4. Prepare vehicles for sale to a retail-ready standard
5. Conduct vehicle inspections and report additional work required
6. Ensure all work ispleted efficiently and within agreed timeframes
7. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
8. Follow all health and safety procedures andpany policies.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be required to have:
9. Proven experience as a motor mechanic or vehicle technician
10. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
11. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
12. Good knowledge of modern vehicle systems
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
14. High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
15. Full UK driving licence
