Overview
We are a high-growth organisation defined by a busy, fast-paced manufacturing culture where "good enough" is never the standard. We are looking for a Production Shift Manager to lead the AM shift, collaborate with Blending, Quality, and Warehouse, and deliver a world-class product. The role upholds rigorous GMP and Health & Safety standards, exceeds KPIs, and maintains flawless operational output.
We need a confident, resilient leader who views challenges as opportunities for continuous improvement. You are a natural problem solver with an analytical mindset to manage day-to-day production hurdles while keeping the team inspired and focused on the bigger picture.
For this opportunity, we are offering between £38,000 - £40,000 depending on experience. Working Monday to Friday onsite - 06:00 - 14:30.
Roles & Responsibilities
Process
* Performing verification of the checks performed within the department.
* Developing the current checking system, through experience and dynamic assessment.
* The ability to analyse data, communicate findings effectively, to drive change and to ensure that standards are raised.
* The ability to be confident and comfortable with changing decisions and approaches.
* Collaborating with your line manager and peers to ensure progress is measured and you receive the necessary support in this role.
* Ensure your team and area maintain a constant GMP environment.
Management
* Day to day management of the team.
* Ensure the achievement of KPI targets and drive improvements against KPIs.
* Act as a champion for improvement.
* Develop and maintain training plans for individuals within your team.
* Support the Production Manager in building team effectiveness throughout the department.
* Create a culture of Health & Safety awareness, good manufacturing practice, high quality standard, and good housekeeping.
* Proactively linking in with functions across the business to build cross-functional relationships.
Requirements
* Proven experience managing, upskilling and developing a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Strong GMP working experience.
* Problem solving ability within an agile environment.
* Excellent social skills: ability to build and be a great partner within the business.
* Strong communication levels, both written and verbal.
* Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Solid IT skills, including the use of standard IT suites.
* Experience of continuous improvement using analytical data and driving change.
* Working knowledge/experience of ISO standards such as 9001, 22716, (Cosmetics GMP) and FDA or equivalent regulatory requirements; desirable but not a prerequisite.
