Outpatient services are growing and there has never been a better time to join our team. We are searching for a person who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and patient care with the enthusiasm and drive to help in the Trusts' quest to take the busy outpatient services at East Surrey hospital forward into the future.
You must have excellent administrative, IT and communication skills and the ability and flexibility to adapt to different situations as they arise. You will be part of a fast-paced Reception team delivering a high quality patient experience to the residents of Surrey and Sussex. Ideally you will already have experience working in a busy health related and/or customer service environment.
Typical shift pattern: combination of 08:00-18:00/10:00-20:00 4 days a week (Mon-Sat) with one off-rota day (not same day each week)

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust operates a 24-hour service, 365 days a year. As such, all nursing, clinical, and operational roles may involve working on a 24/7 shift basis, unless otherwise specified during the recruitment process. Successful candidates will be appointed to the first pay step within the band when they start with the Trust (unless they have previous relevant NHS continuous service), thereafter individuals will progress up the pay steps in accordance with NHS Agenda for Change (AfC) terms and conditions. For part time roles you will receive a pro rata'd (proportional) salary payment based on the appropriate pay step/point and hours worked in accordance with AfC and all medical and dental terms and conditions.
