Position: Interim Senior Brand Manager
Location: Southwark, London, Hybrid
This is a high-impact interim opportunity to lead and accelerate two of our most strategically important brands in the UK and Ireland: Elmlea, as we aim to double our Creams business, and ProActiv, our Better-For-You powerhouse. As Interim Senior Brand Manager, youll take full P&L responsibility and deliver results fast, leveraging your proven expertise across the full marketing mix (6Ps) — from consumer-led comms to commercial activation and innovation.
Reporting to the UK & Ireland Head of Marketing, youll lead a small, agile team and collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders in Sales, RGM, Category, Innovation and R&D. This interim role demands a self-starter with strong ownership and the ability to make an immediate impact in a fast-moving, performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the UKI brand strategy and positioning for Elmlea and ProActiv, ensuring fast alignment with global direction.
* Execute sharp, insight-led growth plans across the 6Ps to accelerate brand performance during the interim period.
* Deliver compelling commercial sell-in stories and joint business plans with key UK grocery customers (Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons).
Performance, Budget & Activation
* Deploy a focused A&P investment strategy across media, digital, shopper and loyalty to maximise short-term ROI.
* Set and track clear KPIs, proactively managing levers to optimise brand performance within the contract period.
* Use data and scorecards to drive decision-making and ensure visibility across teams.
Cross-functional Collaboration
* Quickly establish strong relationships across key functions: Category, RGM, Sales, Innovation and R&D.
* Align brand and commercial activity to ensure seamless execution and value creation in-market.
People Leadership
* Coach and support your direct report with clarity, feedback and a focus on delivery.
* Embed a high-performance culture, inspiring accountability and pace during this interim assignment.
