About You:
You're an SEO all-rounder with strong capabilities across all pillars of SEO, allowing you to help drive performance for key clients. Working closely alongside the Head of SEO, you will also support the wider SEO team on their clients' strategy too. This will allow you to demonstrate your insight, skills and leadership across a range of sectors and hone your experience as a senior member of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Onsite SEO strategy creation & delivery to drive organic performance for our clients
Technical audits and monthly health checks
Developing keyword research into strategy
Supporting organisation of existing pages
Line managing SEO Executives to support their development with individual training sessions, monthly 1-2-1s, mentoring and QA of work to create feedback loops to tie back into their development
Recommending changes to website architecture
Competitor analysis
Ensuring SEO best practices are properly implemented
Leading client calls and meetings
Monthly reporting and quarterly reporting
Performance analysis
Supporting the delivery team with strategy, overseeing operations and maximise utilisation
Support on the end-to-end delivery of new business pitches which will include, deck creation, forecasting and the delivery of the pitch
Leading by example in terms of SEO best practice, and supporting with development of training for junior colleagues and across the agency
Support and deliver forecast creation for new clients and existing client to show SEO ROI
Collaborate with content and PR teams to drive SEO in content creation
A natural "go-to" in immediate team and wider agency as an SEO specialist and share this knowledge through thought leadership
You'll need the following skills and experience:
Minimum 3-5 years SEO experience in a client facing role
Experience with CMS systems such as WordPress, Shopify, Salesforce, Demandware and SiteCore
Working knowledge of HTML, JS and CSS
Deep understanding of onsite SEO factors both current and historic
Strong technical foundations including understanding of CSR vs SSR, site/page performance impacts, ability to t-shirt size with developers and communicate clearly the benefits of changes to non-technical stakeholders
Deep understanding of local SEO trends
Deep understanding of integration of digital channels alongside technical SEO
Expert in industry tools (including Semrush, Screaming Frogs to Ahrefs)
A high proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs
Google Analytics IQ Certified
Google Tag Manager experience
Experience with property, fashion and ecommerce brands would be desirable
Fluent in Italian in addition to English would be a nice to have
Salary Banding: £40K - £50K
