Group Accountant - Oxford - £60,000 plus bonus- Hybrid working
A new opening for a Group Accountant has become available for this market leading Company and offers exciting career development and progression opportunities to their employees.
The role will support the Group Finance function and have ownership of producing the group consolidation and budget plus play a key role in reporting.
Role Functions
1. Take ownership in producing UK group consolidation (including for the budget process)
2. Key player in the preparation of the reporting packages to the listed parent company, as well as the reporting to major stakeholders within the UK, including the UK CFO
3. Collaborate with the Group Financial Accounting Manager and the rest of the team to produce the UK statutory accounts, involving accounting papers and being a point of contact for the auditors
4. Play an integral role within the production of the corporation tax estimates and production of tax packs for our tax advisors
5. Assist with the preparation of VAT returns
6. Preparation of monthly account reconciliations
7. Assist with Company Secretarial activities
8. Audit support
9. Ad hoc reporting
Experience Required
Qualified Accountant
Experience of working with consolidations in a Group Company environment
