Milk Education is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work in a fantastic primary school providing 1:1 support to a Reception pupil who is pre-verbal. This is a long-term role, ideal for candidates who are passionate about making a real difference in a child’s early learning journey.
Working Hours: 08:30 – 15:30, Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant
1. Provide 1:1 support and assist in lessons and learning activities
2. Support literacy, numeracy and social development
3. Encourage emotional wellbeing and confidence in the pupil
4. Communicate effectively with teachers and school staff
5. Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Person Specification: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant
6. Experience as an LSA, Teaching Assistant, or Support Worker desirable
7. Previous experience supporting children with additional needs/SEN advantageous
8. Patient, caring, and adaptable approach
9. Strong communication skills and ability to respond to individual pupil needs
10. Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply)
