Job Description Industrial Disease Solicitor Salary : £45,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience) Location : Leeds (North Leeds) Experience : 2 years plus A great opportunity for an experienced Industrial Disease Solicitor to join a growing specialist team within a well-established claimant firm. This role suits someone who enjoys running complex matters, delivering high-quality client care, and taking real ownership of files from instruction through to conclusion. The Opportunity You will join a dedicated Industrial Disease team with a strong pipeline of work and the support to help you develop your technical expertise and progress your career. The role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to work on impactful claims for individuals. The Role You will manage a caseload of industrial disease matters, including complex and litigated claims where required. Typical responsibilities will include: Reviewing evidence, liability, and causation, and advising on prospects Drafting statements, schedules, and key correspondence Instructing and liaising with medical experts and counsel Managing limitation, court timetables, and procedural steps Negotiating settlements and progressing matters to conclusion Providing clear, empathetic client care throughout the life of the claim Supporting the wider team and contributing to continuous improvement What We’re Looking For Essential Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales Proven experience handling industrial disease claims Confidence running matters with minimal supervision Strong drafting, negotiation, and litigation skills Excellent client care and communication Strong organisation and attention to detail Desirable Experience of complex and multi-party litigation Experience mentoring junior colleagues What’s On Offer Salary £45,000 to £65,000 depending on experience Company pension Generous holiday allowance Employee benefits package Supportive team environment with scope for progression About Our Client Our client is a well-established claimant law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality advice and representation.
