The Role:
You will be employed to improve profitability on projects and work on tender & bid presentation and submissions on our larger, complex multi trade enabling works packages.
Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate good knowledge of Commercial and Contractual matters, evaluate forms of contract, where necessary, make recommendations to mitigate potential contractual risks to the business.
* Prepare and submit applications for payment to Main Contractors and Clients
* Identify, Measure, price, negotiate and agree budgets and costs for variations to project scope.
* Assist contract managers/estimators with project bids and procurement of sub-contractors.
* Take commercial lead on key projects including Demolition, Enabling, BWIC, Cut & Carve and Fire Stopping Projects.
* Analyse and control project costs, prepare and substantiate claims where necessary, make recommendations for payments, submit applications and ultimately, endeavour to influence the delivery of all projects on time and within budget & monitoring of Cashflow
* Prepare and submit, job costing and financial reports, as necessary
* Attend meetings and carry out site visits as and when necessary to measure and value works completed
* Effective interaction and communication with pre-sales, Pre-Construction, Estimating team and Project Mangers in understanding project requirements and successful delivery of projects
* Demonstrate clear knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines of the industry and H&S to ensure legal compliance
* Ensure excellence in all areas of delivery, financial reporting, profit generation, cashflow and the development of other staff members
* Working closely with department heads to ensure everything runs smoothly and in accordance with company policies
* Aim to strengthen client relationships and ensure the successful continuance of business operations

Pay: £45,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
