Location: Glasgow – Govan and Scotstoun (On-site, with a recruitment day in Glasgow)
Salary: £38,662.00 (plus a potential shift allowance of 33%)
Your Role:
As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver world-class naval ships. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Manufacturing and installing ventilation and furniture
* Upholding engineering standards with a focus on quality from the start
* Utilizing a variety of hand tools
* Applying your hand skills for both manufacturing and installation
* Interpreting manufacturing and installation drawings
Your Skills and Experience:
We’re looking for candidates who bring the following:
* A Modern Apprenticeship certificate (Trade Papers required)
* A solid understanding of SHE and COSHH risks, along with manufacturing processes
* Comfort in working in confined spaces and/or at heights
* Safety certifications (e.g., SHE Induction, COSHH awareness, working at height)
* A background in a major construction or manufacturing environment
