Electrical Design Engineer / Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Huddersfield (Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Permanent
We are currently working with an established engineering business based in Huddersfield who are looking to appoint an Electrical Design Engineer or Senior Electrical Design Engineer on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation operating within an automation-focused environment, delivering projects across a range of sectors including special purpose machinery, FMCG, pharmaceutical, nuclear, and other regulated industries.
The Role:

Electrical design of control panels
*
Producing electrical schematics and documentation
*
Working closely with project and engineering teams
*
Supporting projects from concept through to completion
The Ideal Candidate:
*
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical design
*
Background in automation, machinery, or industrial engineering
*
Experience with EPLAN (preferred), AutoCAD Electrical, or similar electrical design software
*
Strong understanding of control systems and panel design
*
Able to work independently and as part of a team
