Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor – KierBAM team, Plymouth Royal Navy site. Remote work possible (expected on site 3 days a week). Working hours: 45 hours per week.
Location: Plymouth Royal Navy site.
Security clearance: BPSS required (process may take up to 8 weeks).
Eligibility: Passport from a NATO or MISWG member country, residence in the UK for the past 5 years.

Project Overview
KierBAM (a joint venture partnership between Kier and BAM Nuttall) is delivering a significant redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site in Plymouth.
Responsibilities
* Manage cost planning and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
* Prepare detailed estimates and forecast final costs.
* Review and negotiate contracts, variations and subcontracts with confidence and attention to detail.
* Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals including clients, architects and engineers in a supportive environment.
* Mentor junior quantity surveyors, sharing expertise and helping others grow professionally.
* Prepare financial reports and cost analyses that clearly communicate project status to stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB).
* Strong experience in quantity surveying within construction or infrastructure projects.
* Experience with collaborative problem‑solving.
* Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
