Outline
Liaise with fine art shippers to arrange transport, shipping and obtain competitive quotes Prepare necessary shipping documentation Familiarity with customs procedures, import taxes and customs paperwork Accurate updating on gallery database and inventory including but not limited to artwork locations, condition reports and artwork details Arrange and liaise with conservators and framers Working closely with technical team to ensure smooth running of gallery movements for exhibition show change and client viewings Assist Registrars with art fairs, exhibitions, loans and consignments including paperwork and scheduling Maintain relationships and communication with shippers, art handlers, suppliers, storage handlers, insurers, and customs officers

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a museum, gallery or fine art shipper Project coordination skills and scheduling Meticulous eye for detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst meeting deadlines Excellent communication skills to build strong working relationships with colleagues and third parties Familiarity of different art mediums and collection care
