The Role
Product Technician responsible for assembling and testing spectrometers, inspecting components, and contributing to quality and production improvements. You’ll work closely with engineering, production, and development teams to ensure products meet the highest standards.
Location & Schedule
Location: Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire (OX11 0RL). Full-time, on-site only. Working hours: 9am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday with flexibility. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Your Experience / Interests
Experience in a high-compliance workspace (e.g., medical, equipment for explosive atmospheres) or in a production environment assembling metal components. Enjoy building and fixing things — taking items apart and putting them back together.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Receiving goods and performing incoming inspection and preparation
* Product assembly and test
* Using and maintaining the company’s Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system
* Improving production methods, work instructions and product travellers
* Assisting with other production activities (e.g., purchasing, equipment calibration, maintenance)
* Proactively seeking support when needed
* Supporting product development efforts
This position is based at our Headquarters on the Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire, England.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grades A*-C
* Fluent in spoken and written English
* Confident with computers and standard software tools
* Proven practical skills and strong mechanical aptitude
* Ability to work quickly and accurately
* Effective time management and ability to prioritise tasks
* Clear and professional communication skills
* Right to work in the UK with no restrictions
* Residing in Oxfordshire or nearby areas
* Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with soldering
* Self-driven with a proactive mindset
* Willing to follow instructions while also offering ideas for improvement
* Some hands-on experience with electronics
