Location: Leighton Buzzard Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm Working pattern: Ideally office-based Sector: Construction / Engineering Overview My client is looking to appoint a Finance Manager or experienced Finance Assistant, depending on candidate experience, to join a small, close-knit team at their Leighton Buzzard office. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong accounting fundamentals and experience in a construction or project-based environment. Key Responsibilities * Full responsibility for profit & loss (P&L) reporting * Ledger management (nominal, purchase, sales) * Balance sheet preparation and reconciliation * Month-end and financial reporting * Working closely with operational teams to support project costing and financial control * Day-to-day finance support within a small team environment Ideal Background * Previous experience within the construction industry (highly desirable) * Strong understanding of P&L, ledgers, and balance sheets * Comfortable working in a small team environment * Experience using Integrity Evolution (finance application software) would be a major advantage * However, candidates without Integrity Evolution experience will still be considered if they have strong transferable systems knowledge
