We are currently in an exciting period of growth, with over 300 events planned and 400,000 entrants expected in 2025. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a B2B Marketing Executive to support the growth of our business and our Commercial teams.
The Role
This role combines creative B2B marketing with lead generation, with the goal of engaging prospective partners, nurturing leads, and promoting sponsorship and bespoke event packages.
You'll collaborate closely with the Commercial team to craft compelling outreach, manage inbound enquiries, and build campaigns that attract sponsors aligned with the RunThrough brand and ethos.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospect Engagement
* Own and deliver B2B email strategies tailored to sponsors and partners
* Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (including social media) to highlight existing partnerships and draw new prospects
* Identify and research target companies, industries, and decision-makers for sponsorship outreach
* Collaborate with the Commercial team to design innovative strategies for sourcing new sponsorship and bespoke event opportunities
Inbound Lead Handling
* Respond to and manage inbound sponsorship enquiries promptly
* Qualify leads, collect key requirements, and pass warm prospects to the Commercial team
* Manage and optimise our CRM system (HubSpot)
Website & Sales Collateral
* Own and optimise the sponsorship section of the website to drive inbound interest
* Maintain sales materials to ensure they are up-to-date, visually appealing, and brand-aligned
* Create B2B content, including case studies, sponsorship decks, and post-event reports
Market Research & Insights
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to spot new sponsorship opportunities
* Analyse campaign performance, lead sources, and ROI to refine future strategy
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in B2B marketing, preferably in events, media, or sponsorship sales
* Strong copywriting abilities with a persuasive and professional tone
* Proficiency with CRM and marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp)
* Comfort working with sales teams and understanding sponsorship sales cycles
* Data-driven with strong analytical and reporting capabilities
