Account executive
My client is a specialistclinical trial supply companythat pride themselves on delivering an exceptional service to their customers and have built strong partnerships and networks on a global level to enable them provide the best products for a variety of clinical trials.
Due to expansion, they are seeking a Clinical Trial Project Manager to join them. Previous experience within the clinical trial sector is essential
The role is home based with occasional travel to the head office based in Burton on Trent
Responsibilities
Managing up to 7 global key accounts
Be key point of contact for both external Customers and suppliers, managing relationships to ensure expectations are met and managed where required
Provide an excellent level of service to existing and new customers on a daily basis via the telephone, email and face to face on occasions
To deal with any queries or complaints in a timely and efficient manner
Working closely with other team members and external shipping companies to ensure all orders are fulfilled within agreed timescales
Sourcing best products for customers in line with their requirements
Arranging shipping of products via airfreight and negotiating prices
Gaining a good working knowledge of existing and new products available
Create reports on service levels for the senior management team
Adhering to all required guidelines and legislative standards
Maintaining all documents and records within the companies system and in line with GDPR regulations
Maintain customer orders and increase opportunities where possible
Make recommendations on services and new products to existing and new customers
Providing new / repeat quotations
Candidate requirements
Previous account management experience within pharmaceuticals/Clinical trials sector
Experience in airfreight shipping
Previous experience in sourcing products on a global level
The role is home based with occasional travel to the head office based in Burton on Trent
