To support our continued growth we are looking for a Fire Stopping Supervisor to join our team.
Role and Responsibilities
* Carry out monthly audits of site documentation to ensure it complies with FIRAS /BM TRADA requirements.
* Feedback on training requirements for operatives ensuring all relevant courses and site required qualifications are maintained and up to date.
* Manage all site survey requirements.
* Inspect all compartmentation.
* Carry out or manage all door surveys.
* Produce report on Robust details and dimensions for the QS to produce a price.
* Estimate Timescales and skill sets required for any remedial work.
* Report on site conditions (access, limitations etc.)
* Previous experience working as a fire protection site supervisor.
Experience and Skills
* Thorough Knowledge of relevant legislation
* Thorough knowledge of firestopping products
* Knowledge of FIRAS accreditation and testing standards
* Ability to undertake site surveys to scope and select appropriate solution.
* Understanding of the importance of collating evidence for all completed works using systems such as bolster or site audit pro.
* Capable of overseeing numerous projects and directly employed operatives and subcontractors.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to monitor and oversee health and safety documentation in line with current legislation.
* Excellent people management capabilities
* Desire to help grow the fire protection arm of the business and to be a member of a dynamic team.

All site workers will be required to undergo a DBS check.
A Full UK driving license is essential and home location to be able to easily travel to Walsall and the area serviced in the West Midlands area.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: You will work 40 hours each week, Monday to Friday.
