As the Compliance and Risk Manager you will be a key member of the Legal Office, ensuring that all activities undertaken by the Cadillac Formula 1 Team adhere to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; monitor legislative changes and update compliance programs. Advise internal teams on regulatory matters
* Support the Chief Legal Officer on regulatory requirements for FIA Formula 1 World Championship and other sporting frameworks
* Oversee US/UK/EU data protection compliance, including policies, training, DPIAs, ROPAs, and SARs
* Develop and implement UK/US compliance program covering anti‑bribery, AML, sanctions, antitrust, conflicts, modern slavery, and human rights; promote an ethical culture
* Identify and mitigate operational risks; maintain risk register; oversee supplier/sponsor due diligence; ensure contingency planning and risk reviews
* Create and maintain compliance policies (including AI), manage gifts & hospitality register, and related approvals
* Deliver compliance training and awareness programmes
* Conduct internal compliance monitoring and audits; liaise with external auditors
* Investigate breaches and implement corrective actions
* Produce compliance reports for the Executive Committee and Board
* Oversee visa compliance (UK, Germany, USA) in coordination with People & Culture, Travel, and Driver Managers
* Manage IR35 and contingent worker compliance, including consultant database (UK/US focus)
* Coordinate compliance across departments and with external partners
Qualifications
* Strong experience delivering ethics and compliance programmes in complex organisations (ideally sport), including data protection, ABC, AML, sanctions, antitrust, conflicts, modern slavery, and human rights
* Expertise in data privacy, information governance, and AI risk management
* Proven ability to deliver compliance objectives on time and within budget in high‑profile commercial environments
* Strong stakeholder management and collaborative team working
* Experience managing external legal counsel
* Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce policies, reports, and deliver training
* Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex regulatory issues into clear advice
* High attention to detail
* Experience leading compliance teams or projects
* Familiarity with compliance systems and legal tech tools
* Commitment to continuous improvement and regulatory awareness
