Responsibilities
* You\'ll perform a full range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures on a range of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.
* You\'ll use your own personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair of heavy goods vehicles.
* You\'ll also have access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops.
Qualifications
* Qualified mechanic: you\'re fully qualified to an advanced level (IMI Level 3 in Heavy vehicle or equivalent). You\'ve got your own toolkit for standard repairs.
* Varied vehicle experience: Proven Vehicle Technician experience working on a wide range of vehicles.
* Valid UK driving licence: You hold a full manual UK driving licence.
* High working standards: you take pride in your work and do what is necessary to make sure the job is done effectively.
* Flexible to service demands: you\'re able to work on a flexible shift rota. You\'re always willing to support your team where necessary.
Role Details
* We\'re recruiting an IMI Level 3 qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic at Manchester Workshop on a Permanent contract, with the potential to earn up to £70,000 per annum including overtime. Working Hours: Full time - 39.5 hours per week. Permanent Night Shift working between the hours of 21:30 - 06:00 Monday to Friday (finishing Saturday morning).
* Salary: £39,715 per annum plus a night shift allowance of £131.8 per week.
* Additional weekend supplement on Saturday (£52.10 per shift) is applicable.
