A well-known FTSE company operating globally is seeking a proactive and highly organized individual to join their Legal and Governance team as a Board Support and Governance Coordinator. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth board and committee governance operations, and providing high-level executive support to the General Counsel and Company Secretary.
Your responsibilities:
Supporting effective Board and Committee governance through coordinating meeting logistics, preparing agendas, minutes, and board packs, and liaising with senior stakeholders for timely communication. Maintaining governance calendars, statutory records, supporting regulatory filings, and providing executive assistance to senior legal staff are also key tasks. Knowledge of corporate governance frameworks, compliance, and internal audits is essential. The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion in handling confidential information.
What you'll need to succeed:
Proven experience in governance and board support within a corporate or legal environment, with understanding of governance frameworks and company secretarial practices. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, along with professionalism and discretion. Experience as an EA to senior board members is a plus.
