A day in the life of a Software Engineer...

As an ICT Administrator you will be part of a dedicated and diverse team. An exciting opportunity to broaden knowledge and skills set in a unique and interesting environment. You will build relationships with our stakeholders across all areas of the business, customer and supplier organisations. You will have the opportunity to experience both our headquarters and operating sites. You will:

* Provide technical support for the ATOMS Training Management System.
* Provide technical support for Ascents Unified Communications.
* Proved support to the IT team for Software as a Service (SaaS) environments.
* Act as the POC for all local Ascent IT systems.
* Act as an Azure administrator for Ascents cloud services including user permissions.
* Act as the technical assistant for the MFTS BI system. Provide technical advice and support to the BI Developer, Babcock, Lockheed Martin and Users.
* Act as the technical assistant for the internal Graphics network.
* Provide assistance to sub-contractors for implementation of ICT, Audio Visual and MIS systems across MFTS.
* Provide support to the development and ongoing development of Ascents finance and HR systems.
* Provide administrative and user support for the Ascent ICT system. Manage and establish Concept of Operations.

You will already have a breadth of fantastic IT experience, proven technical competence, but be keen to learn new technologies. You will have strong communication skills.

And you will also:

* Strong interpersonal skills, good analytical and problem solving skills.
* A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work flexibly within tight deadlines with demanding stakeholders.
* The ability to communicate complicated technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in written form.
* Strong knowledge of IT systems including experience in;
o Training Management Systems
o Exposure to Azure
o Understanding of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, MPLS)
o Virtualisation, VMWare\Hyper-V
o Modern Desktop Administration
o Microsoft 365 technologies
o Unified communications (MS Teams)
o Network Patch Management
