This isnt just another electrical rolehere, youll work across a vast and varied site, supporting the operation of advanced, automated plant equipment that includes robotics, PLCs, and large-scale industrial machinery. Whether youre fault-finding on a production-critical system or supporting process improvements that drive energy efficiency, youll play a key role in keeping one of the UKs most important quarries running smoothly. What Youll Be Doing: Carrying out electrical maintenance, both reactive and planned, across fully automated plant equipment, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Diagnosing and repairing faults with complex electrical systems, including PLCs, VSDs, and control panels. Working on safety-related control systems and maintaining electrical documentation to high compliance standards. Supporting production needs through program modifications and continuous improvement of electrical systems. Contributing to energy efficiency goals and site-wide electrical upgrades. Mentoring apprentices and less experienced team members. Maintaining a high standard of health, safety, and compliance across all activities. Who You Are Youre a skilled industrial Electrical Fitter who enjoys working in a dynamic, hands-on environment. Youre proactive, solution-focused, and take pride in delivering quality work that makes a real difference to plant performance.
