Overview
As our Materials Management Officer / Driver, you will work as an integral part of the team ensuring that internal supply chain services are always maintained, e.g., receipts, distribution and/or materials management using computerised receipts, storage and/or bar-coded data capture systems within the warehouse and the wider Trust amongst other duties. You will also deliver goods to various locations within the Trust portfolio, including delivering goods to the public (e.g., continence products and wound dressings). This may require you to pass through patients’ thresholds to assist in putting goods away.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work under non-direct supervision, prioritising your own workload. A flexible approach is necessary to respond appropriately to the demands of an ever-changing workload. You will need excellent interpersonal skills, liaising with and helping Trust staff throughout the working day and communicating with all levels of staff face to face and over the telephone.
Applications from candidates that require current Healthcare worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position.
