Overview

We are looking for a hands-on leader with a strong operational background for this 75-bedroom Holiday Inn Express in Shrewsbury, SY2 6LG. Teamwork and flexibility are essential in this hotel, where the close-knit team pivots between warm welcomes, cold drinks, and everything in between. With a solid understanding of hotel operations, you will lead from the front, inspiring and supporting your team to deliver outstanding experiences at every stage of the guest journey. This role reports to the Regional General Manager.


Responsibilities

* Oversee the smooth running of day-to-day operations in the hotel and manage ongoing profitability.
* Guide and nurture your team to ensure all revenue, guest satisfaction and brand targets are met.
* Manage budgets and control expenditure.
* Recruit, train and manage hotel employees.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing laws, and maintain property and amenities.
* Continuously improve business operations through standard procedures, maximise revenue and monitor employee performance.
