AI Engineer opportunity has arisen with a Leading UK law firm, renowned for their commitment to innovation and excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming legal services through the power of artificial intelligence;
As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI models and systems that revolutionise the way legal services are delivered.
Working closely with a cross-functional team of data scientists, software engineers, and legal professionals, you will leverage your expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing to create intelligent solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
The role is paying up to £45,000 and, you will be joining their dynamic team in Birmingham (with Manchester as an option), where you will be based 3 days/week on site as part of a hybrid working model.
* Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models to streamline legal processes
* Analyse large legal datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into legal products and services
* Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy in a legal context
* Monitor and maintain AI systems in production environments, ensuring reliability and effectiveness
* Stay updated with the latest AI research and technologies relevant to the legal industry
* Document AI workflows, models, and system architecture for transparency and reproducibility
Requirements
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
* Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch (preferred), TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)
* Experience with data processing tools and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS)
* Knowledge of deep learning, NLP, and computer vision techniques, (especially in the context of Microsoft Copilot and OpenAI APIs)
* Familiarity with MLOps practices using tools like Azure ML Pipelines, MLflow, Docker, and Kubernetes
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to apply AI to legal challenges
* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, AI, Data Science, or a related field
