Job Summary
Senior Building Surveyor (Hybrid) – Bristol
Salary: £42,839 - £46,142 per annum
Reference: 5297134 – Remote working available; periodic visits to City Hall required.
Responsibilities
* Manage building works across the education portfolio, ensuring compliance with legislation and delivering high‑quality outcomes.
* Work with NEC4, SFG20, JobLogic, FastDraft and Concerto to support Hard FM contracts and asset management.
* Carry out condition surveys, manage budgets, oversee maintenance programmes and act as a consultant to other departments.
* Perform responsibilities under CDM regulations, including the role of Planning Supervisor and Designer.
Qualifications
* Corporate Membership of the CIOB or equivalent qualification.
* Senior‑level project management experience in building repair, refurbishment and maintenance.
* Strong knowledge of building contracts, financial control and CDM regulations.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
* Experience with NEC4, SFG20, FastDraft, Concerto and CAD software desirable; familiarity with public sector and local authority procedures a plus.
