Role Overview:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support students with special educational needs and disabilities. Your dedication, compassion, and adaptability will help create an inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with students with SEND is advantageous.
* A caring and patient approach, with a genuine commitment to students' well-being and development.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
* Flexibility to work on short-term or long-term basis as required.
* Understanding of various SEND conditions and ability to adapt support strategies accordingly.
Responsibilities:
* Provide support to students with SEND, either one-on-one or in small groups.
* Adapt strategies to meet individual needs.
* Collaborate with teachers to create and implement personalized education plans.
* Assist in modifying curriculum materials for accessibility.
* Foster strong relationships with students to promote confidence and engagement.
* Support classroom management and behaviour strategies.
* Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment.
* Maintain records of student progress and communicate updates.

All pay rates include statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanence later.
